Katie & Conor Pre-wedding Portraits

Meet Katie & Conor. They are due to marry in June in the Wren's Cathedral Wroxall and then will hold their wedding breakfast in Wroxall Abbey. It's a brilliant find hidden in the village of Wroxall in Warwickshire and mixes the ruins of the original 12th century abbey with a huge gothic Victorian mansion. Katie & Conor love fun and the shots taken reflect this as well as the evident love they have for one and other. Photographically I'm spoiled for choice, beautiful grounds, stunning architecture, a grand interior. Mmmmm! Where to plant the gorgeous couple first?

Breadsall Priory Derbyshire - Jennie & Simon

Jennie & Simon held their marriage ceremony at the stunning Breadsall Priory in Derbyshire, April 2011. It was a gloriously sunny day, Simon arrived with his Bestmen by helicopter in the grounds of Breadsall whilst Jennie was winding her way down the country lanes in a beautiful old Rolls Royce. After the ceremony, with my friend Cathy Higgins second shooting for the day, we took Jennie & Simon off for some photographs in the pretty woodland and wildlife area of the priory. Later the couple held their wedding breakfast in a marquee behind their home.

The East Midlands Labrador Rescue 30th Anniverary Dinner Dance

The East Midlands Labrador Rescue, run by Harry Cook MBE, held it's 30th Anniversary Dinner Dance at The Nottingham Gateway Hotel on the 16th of April 2011. It was a great night of dining and dancing with fund raising and presentations for many of the people who have helped worked tirelessly over the years raising funds for the charity so that they can continue to re-home abandoned & unwanted Labradors or who've given a loving home to many of the Labradors that have ended up at the charity.

Katie & Justin Pre-wedding Portraits

Katie and Justin are to be married at Strelley village church in May and will hold their reception in a marquee at Katie's family farm & riding school also in the village. They are a lovely couple who adore their animals, and each other of course. A couple of weeks ago I met up with them to take their pre-wedding portraits and had a look around the farm for some quirky backdrops for their photos on the big day. It's going to be amazing; there are 17 horses, 2 dogs, 3 donkeys, loads of chickens but best of all a sheep that thinks it's a horse!
